Isaiah 50-57.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” [55:8-9]

Pres. Russell M. Nelson encouraged YOU/ME, once again during General Conference, to ask The Lord how He feels about YOU/ME.
⠀
Isaiah, a prophet of old,
and a prophet now, want YOU/ME to know that the Lord knows Y/OUR name, Y/OUR everything; Y/OUR every feeling.
⠀
𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 that YOU/I have felt,
HE has felt too & ALL that YOU ever will feel, HE has felt.
⠀
Christ knows YOU/ME
and is fighting for US
to overcome.
⠀
He has felt my lowest of lows,
my anxieties, my sorrows
AND
my highest of highs,
my joy, my happiness.
⠀
When I am low, I call to HIM,
and I do feel HIM strengthen me.
When I feel joy & happiness,
I praise HIM, and I feel my joy increase.
⠀
When I do neither of these things,
I feel weaker or not as much peace.
⠀
Chapter 50 shares the Lord’s partnership with GOD; a pattern for US to see the many blessings we can have too - if WE create a partnership with the Lord.

It also shares that those who think on their OWN ways shall not have HIS ways. [50:11]
For His thoughts are not YOUR thoughts, YOUR ways are not HIS ways. [55:8-9]
⠀
The Lord truly wants YOU/ME to reach out, and make a partnership,by making covenants with Him,
(such as baptism) so He can help YOU/ME move hills, even mountains as we go forth in HIS direction. [ch. 54 & 55]
⠀
The Lord wants to give US an everlasting name, just as HIS name is everlasting, mortal to immortal.
WE can live again because of HIS atoning sacrifice.

HE is the ultimate gatherer here
and HE wants to make US gatherers too. [ch. 56]
⠀
The Lord’s kindness shall not depart from those who seek HIM. Neither shall the covenant of HIS peace be removed from those that seek HIM, turn to HIM, follow HIM, pray in partnership with HIM to God.

Christ, the Lord, is with those who have a contrite heart & a humble spirit.
⠀
To those who remember HIM,
HE will heal,
HE will lead,
HE will restore comfort & bring peace.
